Pickin in The Rockies
Pickin’ in The Rockies is bringing high-energy, world-class entertainment to the Western Slope of Colorado. This family-friendly Bluegrass festival is guaranteed to provide a whoopin’ and hollerin’, toe tappin’, hand clappin’ good time! This fun filled one day event is packed with a variety of vendors, workshops, music, and more. It all takes place at Absolute Prestige Ranch in Loma CO on May 26,

Why Pickin’ in The Rockies
There is something so unique and special about Southern Bluegrass music that one can never understand it unless they experience it for themselves. However, being that Colorado is not in the South nor anywhere near a Southern state, it is missing out. Pickin’ in The Rockies is changing that, though. We are bringing the historical, community founding, and storytelling of Southern Bluegrass music to Western Colorado.
The President of this event, Garret Dupper, has always been a huge fan of Bluegrass music, but did not become involved with it until the year 2020. As he became involved and found an even greater passion for it his event planning brain started working. From that his very first vision of Pickin in The Rockies was born. He is so excited to finally make this event a reality and cannot wait to aid in putting it on for you all.
However, it is not a one-person job. He wants to give a shoutout to his entire board for their help. Besides the board the event is possible via an army of volunteers which there is always room for more. - No outside food or drinks.
- Food will be available for purchase from the vendors.
- Beverages including alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase through the venue
- No animals are allowed on the premises.
- Please bring your own chair. Chairs are only provided for VIP ticket holders in the main stage area.
- No coolers of any size.
- This is a public event, and therefore photography will be happening, and you may be included in the photos.
- The main stage area is outside. Therefore, please bring proper sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, umbrellas, etc.
